Funimation and Crunchyroll have teamed up to bring the English dubbed version of the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Entertainment District Arc” to audiences starting on February 20th. The new episodes will be released every week, with episode one scheduled to premiere at 8 am Pacific Time. The final episode, episode 11, will air on May 1st. The series features the voice talents of Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro, Aleks Le as Zenitsu, Bryce Papenbrook as Inosuke, and Ray Chase as Tengen Uzui.
The “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” anime has already gained immense popularity, and the Entertainment District Arc is highly anticipated. The final episode of the previous season aired on February 13th, and a sequel TV Anime covering the Swordsmith Village Arc has already been announced.
The first episode of the Entertainment District Arc is one hour long and features new theme songs by Aimer, including “Zankyosanka” as the opening theme and “Asa ga kuru” as the ending theme. The Entertainment District Arc introduces several new characters, and the English dub cast for these characters has yet to be announced.
In Volume 9 of the manga, which the Entertainment District Arc is based on, Tanjiro and his friends accompany the Hashira Tengen Uzui to an entertainment district where Tengen’s female ninja agents were gathering information on a demon before they suddenly disappeared. In order to investigate, Tanjiro and the others disguise themselves as women to sneak in, making for an exciting and humorous storyline. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the anime, so fans can enjoy the English dubbed version of the Entertainment District Arc on either platform.
