Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc Ep. 1 Review” is a short review of the first episode of the new season of Demon Slayer

In addition to the beautiful animation, “Someone’s Dream,” the first episode of the “Swordsmith Village Arc” in Crunchyroll’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba, did an excellent job of setting up the characters that we will be following throughout the season. The episode also started laying the foundation for the arc, making it feel like coming back home to some of our favorite people and cousins.

One of the most exciting aspects of the episode was seeing the Upper-Rank Demons being called into the Infinity Hotel for a meeting by Muzan, who is clearly angry after an Upper-Rank Demon was killed by a Demon Slayer. We also got some insight into the war between Muzan and Ubuyashiki, which is becoming more intriguing as the story progresses. Although the episode had some silly moments after moving away from Muzan and his demons, it did not detract from the enjoyment of the episode, which continued to introduce intriguing characters and set up the plot for the upcoming arc.

One of the most interesting moments in the episode was Tanjiro’s dream, in which he saw a man who looked like Kokushibo and another man who looked like Tanjiro with the same checkered pattern clothing, but the other man had Tanjiro’s earrings. This has left fans wondering if this was more than a dream and could be a memory instead.

The episode also introduced Mitsuri, the Love Hashira, Muichiro, the Mist Hashira, and Genya, three characters that many fans have been eagerly waiting to see in action. Overall, the “Swordsmith Village Arc” promises to be an exciting addition to the Demon Slayer franchise, with more intriguing characters and plot developments to come.
