Naruto” anime to air on Sony Yay starting August 2022

Sony Yay, an Indian television channel that focuses on children’s programming, recently announced that it will begin broadcasting the popular anime series Naruto starting August 15, 2022. This announcement was made through promotional videos released by the channel. The anime will air on Sony Yay at 8.00 p.m. IST.

In addition to this, it was also revealed that Netflix will start streaming the Naruto Shippuden series in India from August 8, 2022. Netflix India is currently streaming all nine seasons of the original Naruto anime. Fans of the series will be excited to know that they can watch the entire Naruto franchise on Netflix in India.

Naruto is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. It is a coming-of-age story that follows the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. The series is divided into two parts, with the first part focusing on Naruto’s pre-teen years and the second part focusing on his teenage years. The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine from 1999 to 2014 and was released in 72 volumes.

The manga was adapted into an anime television series produced by Pierrot and Aniplex. The series originally aired in Japan from 2002 to 2007, with a total of 220 episodes. The English dub of the series aired on Cartoon Network and YTV from 2005 to 2009. A sequel to the original series, Naruto: Shippuden, premiered in Japan in 2007 and ran until 2017, with 500 episodes in total.

Viz Media licensed the manga and anime for North American distribution and serialized Naruto in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The anime series began airing in the United States and Canada in 2005 and in the United Kingdom and Australia in 2006 and 2007, respectively. Viz Media also released the films and most of the OVAs from the series, with the first film premiering in movie theaters.

The story of Naruto continues with Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which focuses on Naruto’s son, Boruto Uzumaki. The series follows Boruto’s journey to become a ninja and his desire to create his own path instead of following in his father’s footsteps.
