Viz Media and MANGA Plus have joined forces to bring two new spinoff mangas of the popular Naruto series to English-speaking readers. The two new mangas, Naruto: Sasuke’s Story—The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust and Naruto: Konoha’s Story—The Steam Ninja Scrolls, take readers on new adventures in the Naruto universe.
The first of the two spinoffs, Sasuke’s Story, is based on Jun Esaka’s novel of the same name. The manga follows Uchiha Sasuke as he journeys to an astronomical observatory to investigate the origins of the Sage of Six Paths. He is joined by Sakura, and together they begin to uncover a deadly conspiracy theory. The second spinoff, Konoha’s Story, is based on Shō Hinata’s novel of the same name and features illustrations by Natsuo Sai. Sasuke’s Story was released in English on October 22, and Konoha’s Story was released on October 29.
