Shueisha to launch official Naruto website

Shueisha, one of the largest publishing companies in Japan, has announced that it is partnering with Bandai Namco Entertainment to launch an official Naruto website. The website is set to open at 12:00 PM JST on October 3, 2022, and will cover all things related to the globally popular ninja-action manga series by Masashi Kishimoto, including comics, animations, games, and merchandise related to Naruto and the sequel Boruto-Naruto Next Generations.

The site will be operated jointly with Bandai Namco Entertainment, and all content will be available simultaneously in six languages: Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. Fans of the Naruto series from around the world can access the latest news and information about the series on this website in their native language.

Naruto has been a major success since its serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999. It tells the story of a young ninja named Naruto Uzumaki who dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. The series has since become a cultural phenomenon, with over 250 million copies (including digital copies) in circulation worldwide.

According to Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, the new website is being launched to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the anime series.
