Black Clover mobile game delayed to H1 2023

Fans of the Black Clover anime and manga series have been eagerly awaiting the release of the new mobile game, Black Clover: Rise of the Wizard King. The game was originally slated for release in 2022, but publisher Pearl Abyss and developer Vic Game Studios have announced a delay that pushes the release date to the first half of 2023.

Despite the delay, fans can still look forward to global closed beta tests, which will give players a chance to try out the game before its official release. In the meantime, a teaser site for the game has been launched in English, and a new prologue trailer has been released.

The game’s story centers around Asta, a young boy born without magic in a world where magic is everything. Asta makes a promise to his friend to become the Wizard King, and sets out to achieve his goal. The game promises to feature an original story that expands on the world and characters of the Black Clover series.

While the delay is certainly disappointing for fans, it’s not uncommon for game releases to be pushed back in order to ensure a better quality product. Pearl Abyss and Vic Game Studios are likely taking extra time to polish the game and make sure it lives up to the expectations of fans.

Overall, Black Clover: Rise of the Wizard King is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the Black Clover franchise. Fans can look forward to the closed beta tests and the eventual global release in the first half of 2023. Stay tuned for further updates and announcements as they become available.
