The Hunter x Hunter manga will be making a comeback this month

Fans of the popular manga series “Hunter x Hunter” can finally rejoice, as the manga is set to make a much-awaited return. Originally announced by the Japanese Shonen Jump Twitter account with a release date of November 4, the manga will actually be released on October 23, much to the excitement of fans around the world.

The announcement was made by Viz Media, which revealed that the new chapters of the series will be available in both English and Japanese simultaneously. This is great news for English-speaking fans who will no longer have to wait for translations, and can enjoy the new content at the same time as their Japanese counterparts.

In addition to the new chapters, Viz has also added the entirety of the Hunter x Hunter manga series to its digital vault. For a monthly subscription fee of $1.99, Shonen Jump members can now access all the previous chapters of the series. However, the latest chapters (388-390) will be available for free, allowing fans to catch up on the story before the new release.

This news will no doubt come as a relief to fans who have been eagerly anticipating the return of “Hunter x Hunter”, which has been on hiatus since November 2018. The manga has faced several hiatuses over the years, much to the frustration of fans. However, the announcement of the new chapters, and the fact that they will be released simultaneously in English, is a clear indication that the series is finally back on track.

The series, which was created by Yoshihiro Togashi and first published in Shonen Jump in 1998, has since inspired two television anime series, two anime films, and several original video anime titles. The story follows Gon Freecs as he strives to become a Hunter in order to find his father and to uncover the reason why his father abandoned him as a baby to become a Hunter.
