Resident Evil: Death Island cast list

Resident Evil: Death Island is an upcoming animated movie set in the Resident Evil universe, and it promises to feature the return of classic Resident Evil characters. The film follows protagonists Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield as they investigate a zombie outbreak that leads them to Alcatraz Island. The cast also includes Resident Evil characters Rebecca Chambers, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine.

According to Capcom, the film takes place in 2015, after the events of Resident Evil 6 and a year after Resident Evil: Vendetta. The film was announced by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on February 2, 2023, and is set to be released on July 7, 2023. Eiichirō Hasumi directs the film, with Makoto Fukami writing the screenplay.

While fans eagerly anticipate the release of Resident Evil: Death Island, details about the cast remain scarce. At the time of writing, neither the Japanese nor English voice cast has been revealed. It is unclear whether voice actors from the game will be returning to voice their characters in the movie, or if voice actors from Resident Evil: Vendetta will reprise their roles.

In Resident Evil: Vendetta’s English voice cast, Matthew Mercer played Leon S. Kennedy, Kevin Dorman portrayed Chris Redfield, and Erin Cahill voiced Rebecca Chambers. For its Japanese voice cast, Toshiyuki Morikawa voiced Leon S. Kennedy, Hiroki Touchi played Chris Redfield, and Ami Koshimizu played Rebecca Chambers.

It remains to be seen if the voice talent from Resident Evil: Vendetta will return to voice their characters in Resident Evil: Death Island. Fans will have to wait until more information is released about the cast and production of the upcoming animated film.
