Crunchyroll adds Hindi & Indian English dub to new titles

Crunchyroll, one of the world’s leading anime streaming services, has announced that they will be releasing a list of anime titles in Hindi and Indian English dub in India. In a press release dated November 1, 2022, Crunchyroll revealed that several anime series will be available on their platform in both Hindi and Indian English dub, with episodes releasing weekly.

The popular anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc will be among the titles that will receive Hindi and Indian English dubs. Other anime titles that will be available in Hindi dub include Fire Force Season 1 and Radiant Season 1. Meanwhile, Ranking of the Kings will continue to have Hindi dubbed episodes, and My Dress Up Darling is also available on the platform in Hindi dub.

In addition to these titles, Crunchyroll will also release several anime series with Hindi or Indian English dub over the next three months on their platform, including Akebi’s Sailor Uniform, Tokyo 24th Ward, Trapped in a Dating Sim, and Miss Kuroitsu.

Aside from the new titles with Hindi and Indian English dub, Crunchyroll is also streaming anime from the current October season on their platform. These anime series include All Saints Street, Raven of the Inner Palace, Bocchi: The Rock, Do It Yourself!, Legend of Mana, Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch from Mercury, and Berserk.

Crunchyroll plans to make additional English subbed and dubbed content from their extensive library available to Indian subscribers on the first and third Wednesday of each month, starting in November.

Brady McCollum, Chief Operating Officer at Crunchyroll, stated that they will continue to increase their offerings of content and events to fans in India as their subscription base grows and access to anime continues to expand. Crunchyroll slashed the subscription prices of their services in India in July, with the price of a Crunchyroll Premium membership being ₹79/month for their Fan subscription tier and ₹99/month for their Mega Fan tier subscription.
