“Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” English voice cast announced, featuring Giancarlo Esposito and others

CD Projekt Red has revealed the English voice cast for the upcoming Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime, which is set to release on Netflix. The cast includes big names such as Giancarlo Esposito, who is best known for his role as Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and Antón Castillo in Far Cry 6. The cast also features Zack Aguilar, who has previously lent his voice to One Punch Man and Demon Slayer, playing the protagonist David Martinez. Emi Lo, who has previously worked on My Hero Academia, will play Lucy, while William-Christopher Stephens, who has worked on projects like Yasuke and An Invited Guest, will play Maine.

Marie Westbrook, who has worked on Jujutsu Kaisen and Titanic 2, Stephanie Wong, who has worked on Green Snake and American Pie’s Girls’ Rules, Ian James Corlett, who has worked on the Sly Cooper film, Alejandra Cazares, who has worked on Fallout, Gloria Garayua, who has worked on Fun with Dick and Jane, and Borge Etienne, who has worked on Shadows in the Mirror, will also be part of the voice cast.

In addition to these names, Matthew Mercer, who is best known for his work on the popular web series Critical Role, will also be lending his voice to the anime. Mercer has extensive experience as a voice actor, having worked on projects such as Naruto Shippuden, Monsters University, and Hunter x Hunter.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners is a standalone 10-episode story that follows a street punk who becomes a mercenary known as an Edgerunner. The anime is being developed by Studio Trigger alongside CD Projekt Red and Netflix. Although the series is set to be released on September 13, new DLC based on the show has already been added to the popular video game Cyberpunk 2077.
