Steve Blum has joined the English dub cast of the anime series “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is a popular anime series that premiered in April 2019 and ran for 26 episodes. The series has been licensed by Aniplex of America and is available to stream on various platforms, including Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNow. In October 2019, the series was also added to Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block. The show has been well-received by audiences and critics alike, with its stunning animation, gripping storyline, and dynamic characters.

The series has been directed by Haruo Sotozaki, who has previously worked on other popular anime series such as “Tales of Zestiria the X” and “Tales of Symphonia the Animation.” The animation studio ufotable, known for their work on other popular anime such as “Fate/Zero” and “Kara no Kyoukai,” is responsible for the series’ stunning animation. Akira Matsushima served as the character designer, while Yuki Kajiura and Gō Shiina composed the music. The series was produced by Hikaru Kondo.

The original manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2016 and has since gained immense popularity. Viz Media has been publishing the manga in both digital and print formats. The manga has also inspired a stage play in Japan, which will run at the Tennōzu Ginga Gekijō in Tokyo from January 18-26 and at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Kobe in Hyogo prefecture from January 31-February 2. Overall, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” has become a cultural phenomenon, with fans eagerly awaiting the upcoming sequel anime film.
