Assassination Classroom sequel trailer with English and Indonesian subtitles released

Encore Films Indonesia has recently released an English and Indonesian-subtitled teaser video for the second live-action adaptation of Yusei Matsui’s Assassination Classroom manga. The film, titled “Assassination Classroom: Graduation,” will be distributed by Encore Films and is set to open in Indonesia on April 20. The film depicts the manga’s ending and will feature Mirei Kiritani as Aguri Yukimura, Hiroki Narimiya as Kōtarō Yanagisawa, and Tsuyoshi Abe as Red Eye.

The first live-action adaptation of the manga was released in Japan in March 2015 and later in Indonesia in October of last year. Matsui ended the manga’s run in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on March 19, and the second season of the anime adaptation currently airing is set to cover the manga’s ending, according to director Seiji Kishi.

The story of Assassination Classroom follows a class of misfit students who continuously attempt to kill their teacher, a superpowered creature that has already destroyed the moon, in order to save the world. The manga has gained popularity worldwide and has been released in Indonesia by Elex Media Komputindo, with the sixth compiled book volume having been released on March 14.

With the release of the English and Indonesian-subtitled teaser video, fans of the manga and anime in Indonesia can now look forward to watching the highly anticipated second live-action adaptation of Assassination Classroom on the big screen.
