Black Clover manga on month-long hiatus

Yuki Tabata, the mangaka behind the popular series Black Clover, has announced that he will be taking a month-long hiatus. This means that the manga will not be featured in issue #23 and issue #24 of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The series will resume releasing its chapters from May 22, 2023, which means it will be featured in the 25th issue of the aforementioned magazine.

While some fans may be disappointed by the break, many others have expressed their support for Tabata taking some time off. After the tragic passing of Kentaro Miura, the creator of Berserk, earlier this year, there has been a renewed focus on the physical and mental health of manga artists. Fans recognize the pressure that these artists are under to produce content on a regular basis, and many have called for the industry to take steps to better support them.

There is also hope that this break will result in an overall improvement of the manga. Tabata has been known to take breaks in the past when he needs time to work on the story or artwork, and these breaks have often been followed by some of the series’ most exciting and well-crafted chapters. The fanbase is looking forward to seeing what new ideas and innovations Tabata will bring to the series when it returns.

While the manga is on hiatus, fans can still enjoy the anime adaptation of Black Clover, which is currently ongoing. The series has been well-received by fans for its faithful adaptation of the manga, dynamic animation, and exciting action scenes. With new episodes airing every week, the anime is a great way to stay engaged with the world of Black Clover while waiting for the manga to return.
