An official coloring book for Jujutsu Kaisen has been released

The popular Japanese manga series, Jujutsu Kaisen, is gearing up to release its official coloring book on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. This release date is set to coincide with the premiere date of the manga series’ 23rd volume, which will give fans in Japan the opportunity to purchase both of these highly anticipated items together.

Jujutsu Kaisen, created by Gege Akutami, follows the story of Itadori Yuji, who becomes the host of a powerful curse named Ryomen Sukuna after swallowing a finger talisman. Satoru Gojo, recognizing the danger of Itadori’s situation, enrolls him at Jujutsu High to train him in preparation for when he consumes all 20 fingers of the curse.

The upcoming coloring book for Jujutsu Kaisen, set to be released in July 2023, will cost around 990 yen and will feature 36 pages of intricate black and white illustrations for fans to color in. However, additional details about the coloring book, such as information on how to purchase it and its availability worldwide, are yet to be revealed.

When the announcement was made, Jujutsu Kaisen fans in Japan were thrilled that they could purchase the new coloring book and the 23rd volume of the manga series together. However, information about the international release of both items is still unknown, and it’s possible that fans outside of Japan may have to wait for another three to six months before they can get their hands on them.

In response to the announcement, fans expressed their excitement about the upcoming release, with many hoping that the coloring book would feature drawings from the anime instead of the manga. Some fans even speculated that the series might release two more coloring books in the future, with potential titles of Coloring Book Blue and Coloring Book Purple based on Satoru Gojo’s attack “Hollow Purple.”

In contrast, some fans criticized the coloring book release of another popular manga series, Black Clover, suggesting that it did not perform well in the market. However, these claims have not been officially verified by Shueisha, and the producers of the Black Clover anime are currently focused on promoting the upcoming movie.
