Second English-subbed trailer for Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King anime film now streaming

The upcoming Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King anime film, which was originally scheduled to release on March 31, has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film’s production was affected by the spread of the virus, which has led to the delay of its release until June 16. However, Netflix will debut the film on its streaming service on the same day it hits theaters.

Yūki Tabata, the original manga creator, is serving as the movie’s chief supervisor and original character designer. The staff members from the television anime are returning for the film, including Ayataka Tanemura, who is directing the film, and Itsuko Takeda, who is designing the characters. Minako Seki is composing the music for the movie.

For those who attend screenings of the film, a “Volume 23.5” bonus book will be given out to ticketholders. The book features character designs of the film’s original characters, which were created by Yūki Tabata, a short novel by film writer Johnny Onda, and an interview with the voice actors. However, the book will only be available as a bonus for the first week of the film’s release, and there will be a limited number of copies available.

Toshihiko Seki will play Konrad Leto, a former Wizard King, while actress and model Marie Iitoyo will voice the original character Milly Maxwell. Fumiya Takahashi will play Jester Galandros, a mysterious wizard who was associated with the previous wizard king, and Miyuki Sawashiro will play Princia, while Houchu Ohtsuka will play Edward in the film.

The film’s theme song, “Here I Stand,” will be performed by the Japanese rock band Treasure. With all of these exciting updates, fans of the Black Clover franchise have plenty to look forward to when the movie finally arrives.
