“Haikyu!! Touch the Dream” is an upcoming mobile game that’s set to bring the beloved characters and intense volleyball action of the Haikyu!! manga and anime series to fans on the go. Pre-registrations have opened in Japan, with fans able to sign up through a variety of methods, including following the official Twitter account, reserving the game on LINE, or using the Reservation Top 10 feature on iOS and Android devices. Those who pre-register will receive special in-game bonuses once a certain number of registrations have been reached.
The mobile game has already generated a lot of excitement among fans, with over 100,000 pre-registrations coming in within the first 24 hours of the pre-registration period. Fans can check out the debut promotional trailer to get a glimpse of what’s in store for them.
The Haikyu!! series, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020, follows the story of Shoyo Hinata, a high school student who is passionate about volleyball. After being inspired by a professional volleyball player despite his small stature, Hinata creates his own volleyball team in middle school, but his team is defeated by Tobio Kageyama’s team. The loss inspires Hinata to vow to surpass Kageyama, and when the two players meet again in high school, they join the same volleyball team. The anime adaptation of Haikyu!! has been well-received by fans around the world, with all four seasons available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
