An avid Pokemon fan and artist has taken it upon themselves to design new evolutions for six of the most deserving Pokemon in the franchise. For those unfamiliar with the series, one of the main features of the games is evolving your Pokemon into stronger, more powerful creatures. This is usually done by leveling up and earning experience points, but there are also other methods such as using evolution stones or trading with other players.
Despite the variety of ways to evolve Pokemon in the games, there are still a handful of creatures that do not have any evolution options. This is where the artist known as HijinksHandbook comes in. They have designed new evolutions for six Pokemon that currently do not have any as of the latest games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The Pokemon that have been given new evolutions in HijinksHandbook’s designs are Shuckle, Tropius, Sableye, Seviper, Zangoose, and Torkoal.
HijinksHandbook’s designs have been met with a positive reception from the Pokemon community. In fact, their Reddit post showcasing the designs has received over 12,000 likes as of the time of writing. Fans have expressed their excitement at the possibility of these beloved Pokemon finally getting the evolutions they deserve.
It’s worth noting that while Sableye does not have a regular evolution, it does have a Mega Evolution that can be achieved in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. However, Mega Evolutions are only temporary, which is why fans are still eager to see Sableye get a proper evolution in the future.
Of course, there is always the possibility that these Pokemon could receive official evolutions or even pre-evolutions in future games. It’s not uncommon for new Pokemon games to introduce new forms or variations of previously-existing Pokemon. If this were to happen, it would be interesting to see if any of HijinksHandbook’s designs are similar to the official ones.
In the end, the Pokemon franchise has a massive and dedicated fanbase that is always eager to see new and exciting additions to the games.
