Boruto revisits Naruto and Kawaki’s touching moment

In a recent episode of the Boruto anime series, the show referenced a sentimental moment from Naruto that involved Naruto, Kawaki, and Boruto. In the episode, Kawaki wakes up to find Naruto standing by the foot of his bed, having promised to never turn his back on the troubled young boy. Naruto also reaffirmed to Kawaki that he was like a son to him, throwing back to the moment when Naruto first took Kawaki in after he arrived in Konoha as a result of the Kara airship crash.
