Naruto Anime celebrates its 20th anniversary with a 10-minute special PV release

The official website launched to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto anime has released a special 10-minute-long PV on October 3, 2022. Titled “Road of Naruto,” the video features significant scenes from Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden along with prominent opening themes from the anime. The PV aims to take the viewers on a nostalgic trip down the memory lane by showcasing some of the most memorable moments from the Naruto series.

In addition to the PV, the 20th-anniversary celebration also revealed three new key visuals, each depicting different arcs and scenarios from the anime. The first key visual, titled “Ninja Opening,” showcases the growth of Naruto, who has just enrolled in the Ninja Academy. The second key visual, called “The Faraway Encounter,” depicts scenes involving Naruto and Sasuke, and the latter’s conflict with his brother Itachi, who is a member of the enemy organization Akatsuki. The third key visual focuses on the final decisive battle and shows Naruto and Sasuke fighting their last adversary, Kaguya, at the end of the anime.

The fourth key visual, titled “Inheritance/Legacy for the future,” will feature the younger generation, including Boruto. It will be released at a later date. Fans are eagerly waiting for this visual to see how the younger generation will carry forward the legacy of the original Naruto series.

In addition to the PV and the key visuals, author Masashi Kishimoto also revealed a congratulatory visual to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto anime.
