The cast for the English dubbed version of “BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War” has been announced

VIZ Media, the American company responsible for the distribution and localization of popular anime and manga franchises such as Naruto and One Piece, recently announced the cast of the English dub of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War. The announcement was made on various social media platforms, including Twitter and Instagram, in anticipation of the series’ English dub premiere on Hulu in the US on November 4th.

While the majority of the main cast remains the same as the previous seasons, there are a few notable changes in the dub. The most prominent of these changes is the recasting of Yasutora “Chad” Sado, who will now be voiced by Johnny Cruz instead of Jamieson Price. The rest of the main cast includes Michelle Ruff as Rukia Kuchiki, Stephanie Sheh as Orihime Inoue, Todd Haberkorn as Keigo Asano, Derek Stephen Prince as Uryu Ishida, and Wendee Lee as Yoruichi Shihoin.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War is the newest installment of the long-running anime franchise based on the manga series by Tite Kubo. The series follows the final arc of the manga and is expected to span four cours, with the first cour having already aired in Japan in 2022. The English dub release on Hulu is highly anticipated by fans who have been eagerly waiting for the return of the beloved franchise.

Currently, the original Japanese version of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War is being simulcast on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ in various regions around the world. However, some parts of Europe and Latin America are still without access to the series, and it remains to be seen if the English dub will be available in these regions as well.
