Haikyu!! 10th anniversary one-shot in Weekly Shonen Jump next week

It has been almost two years since the Haikyu!! manga series by Haruichi Furudate came to an end, leaving fans with the final outcomes of their beloved characters. In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the start of the manga series, a one-shot chapter will be published in next week’s combined 21 and 22 issues of Weekly Shonen Jump, which is scheduled for release on April 25. The story for the one-shot is currently unknown, but Furudate has been releasing adult versions of the main characters on the official Twitter account for the franchise, along with information about what they are doing after finishing school.

Haikyu!! ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 20, 2012 to July 20, 2020 and all 402 chapters have been collected into 45 volumes. All chapters are available to read in English on the Shonen Jump app. Crunchyroll is also streaming all four seasons of the anime adaptation of Haikyu!!, which is based on the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series by Haruichi Furudate.

The anime revolves around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. However, his team is matched up against Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and they lose. Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama and joins the high school volleyball team, only to find that Tobio has also joined.
