Haikyu!! 10th anniversary one-shot manga released in English

Fans of the Haikyu!! manga who are eager for more content can now enjoy a new one-shot chapter in English, drawn by manga creator Haruichi Furudate. The chapter, titled “A Party Reignited,” is available on both the Shonen Jump app and Manga Plus. It brings together two all-star teams for a match that takes place after the finale of the original story.

Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime and manga series that revolves around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. However, his team is matched up against Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and they lose. Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama and joins the high school volleyball team, only to find that Tobio has also joined.

The one-shot chapter was created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original chapter, which was first published in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2012. It also serves to promote the upcoming real-life Haikyu!! x V. League match scheduled for August.
