“Haikyuu’s artbook is coming to English-speaking fans! The artbook, which has previously only been available in Japanese, is set to release in English

Haikyuu, the beloved sports manga series by Haruichi Furudate, has been a fan favorite for years, and fans were disappointed when it ended its run in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. However, the franchise has been coming back in some cool new ways as part of its tenth-anniversary celebration. Viz Media has announced that they will be bringing the new art book for the series in English for the first time ever, much to the delight of fans outside of Japan.

Following the end of the manga’s run a few years ago, Furudate’s art was collected in a special new book called the “Complete Illustration Book” in Japan. This book features various artworks and illustrations from the series, including character designs, promotional art, and more. Now, Viz Media will be releasing this art book in English, giving fans the chance to appreciate Furudate’s art in a whole new way.

While there’s no concrete release date for the new art book yet outside of its release window, it’s expected to be available in Spring 2023. Viz Media’s announcement of the licensing included a sneak peek at the cover of the new art book, which has only served to increase the excitement among fans. Haikyuu’s popularity has only continued to grow since its conclusion, and this new art book is sure to be a must-have for any fan of the series.
