My Hero Academia “Tartarus” English Dub Review

The latest episode of My Hero Academia, “Tartarus,” has left fans on the edge of their seats as the heroes face their greatest challenge yet. Under the control of All For One, Shigaraki launches an attack on Tartarus with the help of the Nomus, in an effort to free All For One’s body and many other prisoners. This episode takes a dark turn as the heroes suffer the consequences of their previous battles, with one of their top heroes facing controversy and undergoing surgery, and several others meeting a tragic end.

The show has taken a serious turn, with the stakes higher than ever before. It’s rare for a shonen anime to feature characters who die and stay dead, and My Hero Academia is one of the few shows that does just that. The series has always balanced light-hearted moments with intense action and drama, but now it seems to be fully embracing the latter.

While it’s hard to feel sympathy for Shigaraki, it’s difficult not to feel a little sad for him as he loses control of his own body. All For One’s lack of concern for him is not surprising, but it still leaves a bitter taste in viewers’ mouths. However, despite the glimmers of hope that Shigaraki might be redeemed, many fans are hoping for a pure villain who stays true to their evil nature.

As the heroes face their darkest hour, it remains to be seen how they will react and what consequences their actions will have on the wider society. Fans are eagerly anticipating the next episode to see how the story unfolds.
