Kids in central Japan like a cracked rock resembling one from “Demon Slayer” anime

In the city of Suzaka, Nagano, Japan, there is a forest that has become popular among children for a unique feature – a cracked boulder that resembles the one from the anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.” The boulder, which is called “Ryu no wariishi” in Japanese, stands at 2 meters high and 3 meters wide. It is said that a thirsty dragon accidentally broke the rock with its claw when it tried to drink water from the spring beneath it. The “Demon Slayer” anime is a popular show that follows the story of Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the “Demon Slayer Corps” to help his sister, who has been turned into a demon, become human again. The forest where the cracked boulder is located is called “Sakatayama Kyosei no Mori” and is situated about 1.5 kilometers east of Nagano Electric Railway’s Suzaka Station.
