New Mangekyo Sharingan theory predicts Naruto’s power

The Boruto fandom is abuzz with theories about what’s next for the series, despite the current hiatus. While the Boruto manga confirmed that the series will return in a few months, fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming time skip and wondering what new powers and abilities will be introduced. One fan theory, posted on Twitter by user AdityaCursed, suggests that Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan could be tied to Hindu mythology and the goddess Sharada, which could potentially give her godly powers.

The fan points out that Sarada’s name is similar to that of the Hindu goddess Sharada, who is associated with knowledge, art, learning, and music. Hindu mythology has been a source of inspiration for Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto in the past, particularly with the Rinnegan and the Six Paths, which are based on the Samsara cycle of rebirth. It wouldn’t be surprising if Kishimoto drew inspiration from Hindu mythology again for Sarada’s powers.

According to Hindu myths and lore, Sharada is considered to be the source of all knowledge and art. She is believed to be a reincarnation of Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, who is said to have the power to erase ignorance and make words true. The fan theory suggests that Sarada’s ties to Sharada could give her godlike powers, such as the ability to speak words aloud and make them a reality or an omniscient knowledge of everything.

While these powers may seem overpowered, Boruto has already introduced a wide range of powerful characters and abilities, including the Ten-Tails, cyborgs, and space ninjas. Given what we’ve seen of Sarada’s sun-shaped Mangekyo Sharingan, it’s possible that she could possess godly powers as well. And with the series returning soon, fans can’t wait to see what the future holds for Sarada and the rest of the Boruto universe.
