“My Hero Academia” anime has been confirmed to have a seventh season, and Romi Park is set to join the cast

“My Hero Academia” is a popular Japanese superhero manga and anime series created by Kōhei Horikoshi. The manga was first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014 and has since been collected into 37 volumes, with the latest volume released in Japan on February 3, 2022. The manga is published in English both digitally and in print by Viz Media in North America, and can also be accessed digitally through Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service.

The anime adaptation of “My Hero Academia” has been well-received by fans around the world since its first season premiered in April 2016. The series has had a total of 6 seasons so far, with the latest season premiering on October 1, 2021. The sixth season of the show consists of 25 episodes and aired for two continuous cours (quarter of a year). Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan, and an English dubbed version is also available. The show is also airing on Toonami.

In addition to the anime series, there have been two original video animations (OVAs) released for the franchise. The first OVA consisted of two episodes and was streamed in Japan in August 2020, and both Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the episodes. The second OVA also consists of two episodes and screened in Japanese theaters in June 2022. Crunchyroll is currently streaming these episodes.
