Underrated Quirk of My Hero Academia’s Class 1-B

In My Hero Academia, Class 1-A is undoubtedly the main focus of the story, but that doesn’t mean that Class 1-B should be overlooked. The anime and manga have done an excellent job of giving each character their own moment to shine, including those from Class 1-B. While some of their quirks may seem less flashy than those of their 1-A counterparts, they are still unique and interesting in their own right.

One of the most underrated quirks from Class 1-B is Neito Monoma’s Copy. This quirk allows him to duplicate any other quirk by simply touching the person who possesses it. Once he has copied a quirk, he can use it for up to 10 minutes, although this duration can be extended with training. However, Monoma can only copy up to four quirks at once, and he can only use one at a time.

At first glance, it may seem like Copy is a useless quirk, as it doesn’t have any powers of its own. But in the right hands, it can be an incredibly powerful tool. By copying an opponent’s quirk, Monoma can use their abilities against them, potentially gaining the upper hand in battle. Additionally, he can combine his copied quirks with those of his teammates, allowing them to be used in more creative ways.

One of the strengths of Copy is its versatility. Monoma can copy a wide range of quirks, giving him a tool for almost any situation. However, there are some limitations to his quirk. For example, he can’t copy quirks that involve extra appendages or bodily changes, and he can’t copy quirks that have stored energy for a long period of time, such as One For All.

Despite its limitations, Copy is still an incredibly versatile and useful quirk, especially when used in conjunction with Monoma’s intelligence and resourcefulness. By instinctively knowing how to use a copied quirk, he can quickly adapt to new situations and find creative solutions to problems. And by only using one quirk at a time, he can effectively switch between abilities to match the needs of the situation.

Overall, while Class 1-B may not have the same level of attention as Class 1-A, they still have a lot to offer. And with quirks like Copy in their arsenal, they’re definitely not to be underestimated.
